Success of Sleepwalk play
Almost 500 people have seen the Helensburgh and Lomond drama group Acting Up perform Sleepwalk. This play about youth suicide by US playwright William Mastrosimone has been performed throughout the Helensburgh area. Jointly supported by Choose Life and Fusions, this project, directed by youth worker Claudie Restrick, has been very well received. A local hip-hop dance group also contributed by beginning the performance with a piece of contemporary dance arranged by youth worker Jayne Middleton. Sleepwalk was performed in youth clubs in Kilcreggan and Rosneath, the Victoria Halls, Lomond School and Hermitage Academy.
